Musky fishing history!
Incredible fishery!!!
21
muskies on Saturday - 7 on Sunday = 28
total
Saturday air temps were
in the mid 60's, over cast, with rain
starting at midday for the rest of the
day. Water was in the mid 50's, wind was
SE at 10mph. Perfect musky fishing day.
Sunday a cold front rolled through, air
temps low 50's sunny skies with a east
to northeast wind at 10 mph. |
This years Championship winners received
a
2001 Ranger 681VS boat and Mercury 125
HP outboard!

Lindahl, and Tim Widlacki. Front Row

Champion) |
The eastern
part of the Pewaukee Lake was on fire. The
majority of the fish were caught in the shallow
weedy area's of the east basin of the lake. The
lake is almost like two separate basin's. The
west end is deep with sharp break lines and the
east end is shallow weeds with no real defined
break lines. Trolling and casting both worked
and all kinds of different baits seemed to take
fish.
The State of
Wisconsin's Lieutenant Governor Margaret Farrow
was a PMTT guest fisherman on Sunday. She is a
avid musky fisherman who loves the outdoors,
fishing, hunting, etc. and has competed in a
PMTT event before. Though she didn't boat a
musky, she really had a great time.
